Owner Dentist & Founder
Hello and welcome
To WEEKEND DENTAL!
My family and I have been fortunate to call southern Illinois home since 2014.
I believe great dental care starts with respect: explaining what’s going on, answering questions honestly, and making sure you feel comfortable before anything begins. Whether you need emergency care or routine treatment, you’ll always know what we’re doing and why.
My approach is simple: treat everyone with kindness and respect, because what goes around, comes around.
My personal motto is:
You shouldn't care about how much I know until you know about how much I care.
I bring over 20 years of dental experience along with advanced training in both general dentistry and dental surgery, from Indiana University and University of Jordan.
I stay actively involved in professional dental organizations because advocating for patients and maintaining high standards of care matters — both in our office and beyond.
A Message to New Guests (Patients)
Most people don’t plan their emergencies. That’s why Weekend Dental exists.
Many of our guests meet us for the first time with a toothache, broken tooth, or swelling. They’re tired, worried, and frustrated that they couldn’t get help anywhere else. That shapes how we practice.
You’ll notice we spend time explaining what we see and what your choices are. We care about your comfort, your time, and your ability to make decisions that feel right for you.

Be Your Advocate
Our model is focused on keeping you in the center. We don't hand you from one person to another, like it's speed-dating. You will have a dedicated assistant that will handle your visit from the time you walk in, and until we weave you goodbye... You will meet one dentist and one dedicated assistant (a patient advocate–as we call our selves(, through your entire visit. Only 2 names to remember....
Respect Your choices
You are not our patient, you are our guest. You walk in by choice, and we understand that you are able to leave at anytime. The choice always remains with you, and we respect that. Our job is to explain everything and let you make your own decision–after all, they are your teeth, are they not?...

Lived in Southern Illinois her entire life, Jacy has a calm, steady presence that our guests immediately feel.
